James Andrew, Managing Director, is a Portfolio Manager in the International Equity Group, based in London, with particular responsibility for International Growth portfolios. An employee since 2007, James previously held the role of research analyst specializing in consumer discretionary, having previously been part of the European Apparel & Specialty Retail team at Sanford C. Bernstein. Prior to Bernstein, James was an investment manager with shareholder activist fund Hermes Focus Asset Management. James holds a MEng in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University and is a CFA charterholder.​
