Shawn Khazzam, Managing Director, is Head of Private Wealth Alternatives, Americas for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Mr. Khazzam manages a team responsible for the growth strategy, sales, and marketing of the private market alternative investments offered by the firm with clients across independent, wealth management and custodial platforms. Previously, Mr. Khazzam was based in Hong Kong where he led Alternatives Distribution for Asia Pacific. Prior to this, Mr. Khazzam was Head of Product Strategy & Development, Asia Pacific, and was responsible for driving strategic product direction and investment efforts. Mr. Khazzam joined J.P. Morgan in 2010 through the Management Associate Program, where he held positions in Investment and Consumer banking in New York and London prior to relocating to Hong Kong in 2012. He began his career in the software sector in Washington D.C. and Spain where he held roles in sales, product management and software design. Mr. Khazzam received a M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University.
