Dr. Claudine Prowse, Ph.D., is Venture Partner of Life Science Private Capital (“LSPC”) within J.P. Morgan Private Capital, a division of J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives in J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Claudine joined J.P. Morgan Private Capital in 2023. Her role leverages her 23 years of experience on both the corporate and banking side of the business, helping portfolio companies develop and execute on a business and financing strategy, while navigating the broader complexities of the healthcare space.

Prior to joining LSPC, Claudine was CFO of an OrbiMed-backed genetic medicines company, Gennao Bio (private). She also served similar operating roles across large, medium, and small cap public biotech companies including Biogen, Human Genome Sciences, Rocket Pharma and Ionis Pharmaceuticals. Prior to her operating roles, Claudine advised public and private biotech companies at SVB Leerink.

Claudine earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego Biomedical Sciences & Medical School and a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego School of Engineering.
