Prema Basoor, Executive Director, is a member of the Australian Institutional Client Advisory team. Prema joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management in October 2018 and is responsible for fostering relationships with Australian Institutional clients through thought leadership and the delivery of tailored investment solutions. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Pema worked as a Director within the Australian Institutional team at BlackRock since April 2013, where she was responsible for building and growth of institutional client business. Her career spans over 20 years in various roles working with a wide-range of funds management firms including Fidelity Investments, State Street Global Advisors, ING Investment Management and Bankers Trust Funds Management. Prema has earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bangalore University. In 2017, Prema received a scholarship and completed the ‘Authentic Leadership Development Program’ at Harvard Business School.
