Yoshinori Shigemi, Managing Director, is a Global Market Strategist based in Japan. With over 10 years of experience, Yoshinori serves financial advisors and clients through explaining and illustrating complex economic and financial issues in a digestible way, aiming to contribute to further enhancement of financial literacy in Japan.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Yoshinori served as a non-JPY strategist with RBS Securities Japan Limited, delivering the company’s global economic outlook as well as its global fixed income strategies to institutional clients in Japan. He has also served as Head of Asian Fixed Income at Nomura Asset Management Singapore Limited.

Yoshinori obtained an M.A. in Economics from Osaka University and a B.A. in Foreign Studies from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies.
