Rajendra Nair, managing director, is a country specialist for India and a member of the India team within the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equities team in Hong Kong. He transferred to Hong Kong from India in 2005 where he had been responsible for the Firm's futures and options business since 2000.  Raj joined the Firm in 1998 as an intern in equity research, initially working as an assistant analyst. Prior to that, he spent two years with accounting firms in India. Raj obtained a Bachelors degree in Commerce from D.G. Ruparel College, University of Mumbai. He is also a certified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a certified financial risk manager with the Global Association of Risk Professionals Inc., USA. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
