Ogden Hammond
Head of ETF Strategy & Business Development
Ogden Hammond, managing director, is Global Head of Beta (Passive) Product & Business Development for J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he is responsible for global product development and product management across passive mutual funds, ETFs, and other vehicles. Ogden also leads strategic business development for Beta Strategies.
Prior to joining JPMorgan in 2013, he worked for McKinsey & Company in New York, where he was a core member of the North American Wealth & Asset Management and Insurance practices. Ogden led McKinsey's ETF (Exchange Traded Funds) service line and co-authored "The Second Act Begins for ETFs". He has been quoted extensively in leading publications (e.g., Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, P&I) on ETF and asset management topics. Prior to McKinsey, Ogden was a consultant with Hamilton Consultants, Inc., a boutique strategy consultancy, where he focused on financial services clients.
Ogden graduated with an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, an MPP in Science & Technology Policy and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
