Eiji Saito, executive director, is a country specialist for Japan equities and a member of the Japanese Equities team within the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equities team based in Tokyo. He joined the Firm in 2004 from Nikko Asset Management, Co. Ltd., where he spent eight years, initially responsible for managing Asian equities funds and latterly for Japanese mid to small-cap equity funds. Eiji obtained a B.A. in International Politics, Economics and Business from Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan. He is a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan (CMA) and a CFA charterholder.
