Scot Norden, CFA – Co-Head of Research (Long/Short Equity, Merger Arbitrage/Event Driven and Short Selling Research) Mr. Norden is the Co-Head of Research focusing on Long/Short Equity, Merger Arbitrage/Event Driven and Short Selling Research for J.P. Morgan Alternative Asset Management Hedge Fund Solutions. He is a member of the JPMAAM HFS Investment Committee and the Portfolio Management Group. Prior to joining JPMAAM HFS in March 2003, Mr. Norden worked for Tower Capital, Inc. from 2000 to 2003, most recently as a senior analyst in charge of new manager sourcing and due diligence. Prior to that role, Mr. Norden was a financial analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein for one year. From 1997 to 1999, he worked for Neuberger Berman in client servicing and mutual fund sales. Mr. Norden holds an M.B.A. from Fordham University and a B.A. in English from Catholic University of America. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
