George Fong, executive director, is a member of the Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities (GFICC) group. Based in Hong Kong, George is a portfolio manager for the Asia Fixed Income team. In this role, George manages portfolios within the Asian credit space, and contributes investments ideas to our Asian products and to the broader Emerging Market Debt team. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, he spent 8 years as a portfolio manager and credit analyst at PineBridge Investments overlooking various USD and HKD mandates and funds. Prior to that, he spent 6 years in various sell-side roles as credit strategist, desk analyst and derivatives structurer with Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Commerzbank. George obtained a degree in mathematics and music from the University of Michigan and a Master in Finance from Princeton University and is a CFA charterholder.
