Portfolio ESG scores
Source: J.P. Morgan Asset Management's proprietary Combined ESG Score as at 30 September 2023, MSCI ESG Quality Score as at 31 August 2023. The overall MSCI ESG Quality Score aggregates issuer-level ESG scores, to provide an indication of the overall fund-level ESG score. The ESG Quality Score is based on the weighted average ESG Score of the holdings of the fund. The MSCI ESG Quality Score is provided on a 0-10 scale, with 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest possible fund score. The peer group is Lipper Equity Group.
The JPMAM Combined ESG Score is a 50/50 combination of our JPMAM Fundamental ESG Score and our JPMAM Quantitative ESG Score. The JPMAM Quantitative ESG Score refers to the internal score developed by JPMAM’s Sustainable Investing team to support the investment groups’ quantitative ESG analysis and also to help inform qualitative assessments of individual companies. The JPMAM Fundamental ESG Score is generated from a 40-question ESG checklist for businesses conducted as part of the Equities research framework. The Fund uses the MSCI Europe Index (total return net) for performance comparison only. The Index is not a designated sustainable reference benchmark in light of EU Regulation 2019/2088 and does therefore not have a particular focus on ESG. Metrics shown are for information only.
