Masaomi Shimada, Executive Director, is a portfolio manager for the Global Liquidity business based in Hong Kong managing Asia Pacific Liquidity funds. 

Masaomi joined the JPMorgan Fixed Income team in Tokyo in 2008 and transferred to the Asian Liquidity Fund Management team in Hong Kong in 2010. Masaomi began his career in 2003 when he joined Ueda Yagi Tanshi, trading Japanese fixed income securities. In 2007, he moved to Kokusai Asset Management (Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management), trading both foreign and Japanese fixed income securities and foreign exchange.

Masaomi obtained a B.A. in Economics from the University of Gakushuin.
