Ali Smith

Her responsibilities include deal execution, due diligence, and portfolio support. Prior to joining Growth Equity Partners, Ali was an Associate at 137 Ventures where she invested in growth-stage companies. She primarily focused on consumer internet, enterprise software, fintech, and digital health. Previously, Ali was a member of J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank on the Private Capital Markets team in San Francisco, working with private growth stage companies in technology, consumer, and healthcare sectors. Ali graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. from Drake University, double majoring in Finance and International Business. Ali was also captain of the Drake Women’s Soccer Team where she was a Division I Academic All American First Team selection and named Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year in her senior season.
