### Topline

Benchmark Russell 1000 Growth Index

Markets The S&P 500 Index® gained 15.20% in the second quarter as sentiment improved on easing Middle East tensions and renewed confidence in the AI investment cycle. Strong earnings and constructive guidance supported markets, while higher capital expenditure ("capex") plans from major technology companies reinforced expectations for durable AI-driven growth. Semiconductors and AI infrastructure tied to data center expansion efforts led markets. Growth outperformed value; the Russell 1000 Growth Index returned 16.74% versus 13.87% for the Russell 1000 Value Index.

Helped Stock selection in information technology, specifically positioning within the AI value chain. Communication services also contributed.

Hurt Health care was the largest negative offset, followed by energy.

Outlook The strategy has been leaning back into technology, notably AI-related bottlenecks such as networking/connectivity, compute/semiconductors, memory and power/electrification, while remaining underweight AI capex spenders. Health care was also reduced but remains a modest overweight.

### Quarter in Review

The JPMorgan Large Cap Growth Fund (I Class Shares) outperformed the benchmark, the Russell 1000 Growth Index, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

An overweight position in Western Digital was a top contributor. The company reported strong results, supported by healthy demand from hyperscale customers, better pricing, and higher revenue per exabyte. Long-term customer agreements also improved demand visibility.

An overweight position in Advanced Micro Devices also contributed. AMD reported strong results, driven by AI-related demand across server CPUs and data center GPUs. New customer wins, share gains in server CPUs, and China export approval added upside. We added to our position during the quarter.

An overweight position in Insmed was the top detractor. Shares fell sharply after unclear management commentary overshadowed the strong growth of Brinsupri. Clinical setbacks and launch delays added pressure, though its core products can still drive fundamental upside. Given these dynamics, we trimmed our position during the quarter.

An overweight position in Exxon Mobil also detracted. Shares underperformed as oil prices deflated from their late-first-quarter peak. Both Exxon Mobil and Brent crude oil peaked near quarter-end on a U.S.-Iran risk premium, then fell as markets anticipated a resolution and normalizing supply. Our thesis on Exxon Mobil's growth and margin expansion remains intact.

### Looking Ahead

The strategy has been leaning back into information technology, notably AI-related bottlenecks such as networking/connectivity, compute/semiconductors, memory and power/electrification, while remaining underweight AI capex spenders.

While maintaining conviction in select non-technology stocks, we reduced exposure in certain areas to add back to technology for fundamental reasons and to the sector’s increased benchmark weight following the Russell rebalance.

Health care was also reduced but remains a modest overweight.
