This page looks at Asia's exposure to Europe and the U.S., giving us an idea of how exports and in turn, economic activity, would be affected by the current outlook in those regions. The top chart looks at export exposure. With exports still a relatively major driver and contributor to economic activity across Asia, a change in U.S. or European demand can have quite an impact. The bottom chart looks at a breakdown of geographic revenue exposure for major Asian markets. From this, we can see where markets and their constituents are mostly reliant or source their revenue from. Those that have more exposure to other regions will be more affected by external forces and those markets with less exposure will be more affected by local domestic issues.
