Lisa Merritt is a Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Naples, Florida. As a banker, she advises ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations and endowments on asset allocation, investment implementation, estate and tax planning, customized credit and banking recommendations, and generational planning. Ms. Merritt leverages the global resources available across JPMorgan Chase & Co. to provide customized wealth management strategies to clients throughout Southwest Florida.
Prior to joining the Private Bank in 1997, Ms. Merritt was District Manager of Chase & Co. Manhattan Personal Financial Services, where she managed affluent and wealth lending strategies and operations for Southwest, Central and Northern Florida. She also held officer positions with Chase & Co. Manhattan Bank of Florida and Chase & Co. Manhattan Mortgage Corporation. She is a five-time recipient of the Chase & Co. Consumer Financial Services “Best in Class” award, a two-time Chase & Co. “Excalibur” nominee and a “Chairman’s Club” award winner. In 2009, Ms. Merritt was recognized by Barron’s as one of the top 50 advisors in its inaugural Top Financial Adviser list for Florida.
Ms. Merritt serves as Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Women’s Initiative Network of The Community Foundation of Collier County and as a Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County. She also served two terms as a Director of The Conservancy of Southwest Florida and is Director Emeritus of The Immokalee Foundation. She is the Past Chairman of the Board of The David Lawrence Foundation and served on that board for four years. In 2005, she was selected by N Magazine as “Women of Initiative,” recognizing her leadership in the Naples community.
Ms. Merritt earned a Certified Financial Planner® certification from The College of Financial Planning.
Ms. Merritt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Public Relation Communications from Arizona State University. She completed Nova Southeastern University’s graduate studies program in Financial Planning.
