Olivier de Givenchy is the West Region Head for J.P.Morgan Private Bank and oversees offices in California, Washington, Arizona and Colorado. He also has direct responsibility for the Los Angeles market and is Chairman of the Los Angeles Market Leadership Team.Priorto assuming his current role, Mr. de Givenchy was the Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Private Bank in the United Kingdom and sat on the board of J.P. Morgan International Bank Ltd. He is a graduate of Manhattanville College, New York, with a B.A. in Political Science. He began his career in Citibank’s training program in New York in 1985, and in 1989 joined Banker’s Trust, also in New York, where he was responsible for the European private banking business.In 1993 he joined J.P. Morgan, where he has spent his career working with in the private banking and investment management businesses.
Mr. de Givenchy sits on the the Getty Museum Director’s Council and is a member of the International Committee of San Patrignano, an Italian charitable organization.
Between 2006 and 2013, Mr. de Givenchy served as Chairman of Children in Crisis and remains a lifetime Vice President. The charity works with local communities in 10 countries to provide educational opportunities as a route out of poverty for the world’s most vulnerable children. He is an Ambassador of the Blue Marine Foundation and founding member of the Blue Marine Yacht Club. The Blue Marine Foundation was founded in 2010 to increase the percentage of protected ocean from 1% to 10% over the next 10 years.
