Michal Plotkowiak, executive director, is a portfolio manager in the Macro Strategies team, based in London. An employee since April 2022, Michal previously worked at Newton Investment as a Global Industrials Analyst and led the cyclical equity team before his departure. Michal obtained a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oxford (2006-2010) and MSc in Civil Engineering from Poznan University of Technology (2001-2003) and Hanover University (2003-2005) and is a CFA charterholder.
