Beate Muenstermann, managing director, is a member of the Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities (GFICC) group. Based in London, Beate is the head of European Credit Research and a research analyst within the European Investment Grade Corporate Credit Team. In this role, she is responsible for identifying investment opportunities within the financial and insurance sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Beate was a senior investment analyst at European Credit Management for one year, specializing in credit research for financial investments across the capital structure with a focus on bank capital structures and across all major currencies. Before this, Beate spent six years at Nomura International, serving as a senior analyst for European banks and insurance companies. Previously Beate held positions at Commerzbank Securities, UBS Warburg, JPMorgan Securities and First National Bank of Chicago. Beate earned a degree in English and French from the Fachakademie fur Fremdsprachen und Auslandskunde at the Universitat Erlangen-Nurnberg, Germany. In addition, she holds both a B.A. (Hons) in History, Government and Politics and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Kent.
