Rachel Farrell

Rachel is the Chief Executive Officer and country head for J.P. Morgan Asset Management Australia and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s investment management business in Australia. Prior to this she was Head of Sovereign and Institutional for Asia Pacific ex Japan where she was responsible for J.P. Morgan’s sovereign, pension, insurance, and endowment clients in Asia Pacific ex Japan. She joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2011 from Citi Capital Advisors, the alternative asset management division of Citigroup, where she was Head of Asia Pacific Investor Relations and Distribution. Rachel has over 25 years of investment management and advisory experience and has worked in the US, Europe and Asia. In her 12 years at Citigroup she held various senior positions, including Head of Citi Alternative Distribution Group Asia ex Japan, Head of the Alternative Investment Product Specialist Team for Citi Global Wealth Management in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and Head of Investment Advisory and Counselling for Citigroup Private Bank Switzerland. Prior to joining Citi, Rachel worked for Bank Trust Company first in New York as an Investment Product Manager for Retirement Services and then in Geneva Switzerland, as Head of the Global Discretionary Portfolio Management Team for Bankers Trust Switzerland AG where she was a member of the Global Investment Committee. Rachel obtained an MBA from Columbia University's School of Business and a BA from Brown University. She is a holder of the CFA and CAIA designation.
